Did you make New Years Resolutions? If so, did you make any about clutter this year? I did!

Here’s what I’ve come up with, for both myself and for C3 for 2008:

  1. Make a charging station for myself (the post-Holiday budget is a bit too tight to buy a commercial one for now)
  2. Sort through my clothes and donate at least 3 full garbage bags to charity
  3. Get my craft room organized and ready to be moved
  4. Get rid of as much clutter as I can so I don’t have to move it!
  5. Organize the new house
  6. Don’t let clutter take over the new house!
  7. Reach 100+ RSS subscribers (I currently have ~20)
  8. Have a custom layout made
  9. Get more comments on my posts here
  10. Participate on other blogs more

Hopefully I can meet my goals for the year ahead. It will be a challenge, but I’m sure there’s fun to be had as well!

Do you have any New Years Clutter Resolutions?

I’m working on clearing the clutter for the new year as well! Yesterday I emptied my bedroom closet and worked on sorting through all the clothes. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I ended up with 2 garbage bags of clothes to donate, and a couple bins of *maybe* donate clothes. Next I’m on to tackling my office, including the closet that is full of *who knows what*!

My goal is to purge and organize 1 space a month.

A decluttered blog - and one that was easier to navigate around and find previous stuff was what motivated me to 1) go to Wordpress and 2) use a Revolution Theme by Brian Gardner. It is probably not quite the custom layout you need but I reckon it is not a bad place to start. And Brian can customise if you need. No, am not related to him in any way - just like his work.

@ Molly:
Good for you, both for getting your bedroom closet done, and for donating what you don’t need to charity!
If you happen to take any progress photos of your goal or organizing one space a month, we’d love to see them in the Flickr Group!

@ PickledEel
Thanks for the tip about the Revolution themes! I checked them out, and they look very slick!
